OUR HISTORY FROM 1935 UNTIL TODAY

Over 80 years, we have a long rich history that has passed down through our family for four generations.

In 1935, when a living room was referred to as the parlor, Invincible Parlor Frame Company was founded. At that time, Invincible produced only unfinished frames for local upholsterers and was one of literally dozens of “parlor frame” companies in the New York area. As my father told the story, a three-piece suite consisting of two club chairs and a sofa frame sold for $6.75. Production was 50 suites per week and he lost many an order over a nickel or a dime.

Much has changed since then but what have remained throughout the passage of time are the basic principles of quality, leadership in design and integrity that serve as the foundation of this company. We pledge to remain committed to these core values.

My grandfather Harry and father Samuel started over 80 years ago in a location that some thought of as “out in the country” in Paterson, New Jersey. As the fourth generation enters the business we honor my father with the corporate name, Samuelson Furniture. In addition to our main office and manufacturing operation in New Jersey, we have a dedicated management and quality control team in China and representation throughout the US, UAE and Canada. All are supported by monthly visits in order to uphold the fine reputation and standard of quality known throughout the industry.

We are very proud of our long, rich heritage and will continue to manufacture with the values and craftsmanship that have been a trademark throughout our history.

Sincerely,

history
